The essentials of using Morsel.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Who provides Morsel
Morsel and morsel.fit are operated by Edi Sipka. Contact ino@morsel.fit for support or questions about these terms. These terms cover use of the app and website alongside applicable App Store terms and mandatory consumer law.
What Morsel does
Morsel provides a food journal, nutrition estimates, goals and optional features such as photo logging, Insights, recipes and connected services. Availability can depend on your plan, device, permissions and internet connection.
Estimates and health decisions
Food matches, serving sizes, calories, macros and energy expenditure figures are estimates and may be inaccurate or incomplete. AI-generated results can contain errors. Review and correct entries before relying on them. Morsel is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your individual health or dietary needs.
Free and Pro
Morsel offers Free features and a monthly Pro subscription advertised at $3 USD per month. Local prices, taxes, billing and renewal conditions are shown in the app before purchase. The purchase screen is the source for the offer you accept. No annual plan or free trial is promised by these terms.
App Store subscriptions and refunds
For subscriptions purchased through Apple, billing and renewal are handled by Apple under the conditions displayed at purchase. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Deleting Morsel does not cancel a subscription. Refund eligibility and requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable consumer rights. See Apple’s cancellation instructions and refund guidance.
Your content and responsibilities
You retain your rights in the journal entries and images you provide. You authorise the processing needed to provide the features you choose, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only submit information and images you are entitled to use. Use Morsel lawfully; do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls or misuse another person’s information.
Connected and external services
Apple Health and iCloud depend on your settings and permissions. Photo analysis uses Claude from Anthropic. External services have their own terms and availability. You are responsible for choosing which optional features to enable and for reviewing information before sharing it.
Availability and changes
We may update Morsel to improve features, fix issues or respond to technical or legal requirements. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Material changes affecting paid access will be handled in accordance with applicable purchase terms and law.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits liability where doing so is prohibited. If you have a problem, contact ino@morsel.fit so we can try to resolve it. Any applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
Updates to these terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated where required. Contact us if you have questions before continuing to use an affected feature.
